Helping Today. Helping Tommorow

In Kenya’s rural and urban communities, dogs are everywhere, loyal, alert, and ever-present. Yet behind this familiar sight lies a hidden crisis: most dogs live without proper shelter, veterinary care, or consistent food. They roam not by choice, but by necessity.

SEPP Kenya International is stepping forward to bridge this gap.
We believe caring for animals is part of caring for humanity. Our Dog Rehabilitation & Welfare Initiative is transforming homes, empowering youth, and creating a compassionate culture that honors the deep bond between people and dogs.

The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something

this is what we do

Our Work

Mobile Community Veterinary Units

We train and equip local youth to provide:

  • Dog vaccination
  • Treatment for wounds, infections, and parasites
  • Deworming and health checkups
  • Emergency care
  • Sterilization referrals
  • Wellness follow-ups

Affordable Dog Houses for Every Home

Most dogs sleep in unsafe places, cold floors, bushes, drainage areas, or abandoned sheds.

We design durable, weatherproof dog houses and offer them at subsidized cost to households.

Families can finally give their dogs a safe, warm space to sleep.

Community Training & Awareness

We run sensitization workshops teaching:

  • Responsible dog ownership
  • Feeding and nutrition
  • Basic first aid for dogs
  • Hygiene and disease prevention
  • Emotional and behavioral understanding

Why dogs matter in our communities

Stray Dog Support Program

Where possible, we rehabilitate:

  • Lost
  • Injured
  • Abandoned
  • Sick

dogs while working with homesteads to reintegrate and care for them.
